The Box Gallery Unleashed WPB, Rolando Chang Barrero's newest gallery that is expected to open in early January 2018. The Box Unleashed WPB will provide public artists a magnificent space to showcase and sell large scale works.
William Reed majored in fine arts at Portland State University
specializing in clay and stone sculpture under the tutlage of
Fredrick Littman and James Hansen.
He worked as a professional stone sculptor in Montreal and
moved to Italy in 1979 after participating in the 3rd International
Sculpture Symposium in Carrara.
“I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where the
wonders of nature filled my emotions with
creativity, forcing me to express my love of the
outdoors through art.”
“My challenge has always been to interact with
the inner energy of the wood or stone discovering
and releasing the complex texture and fluidity
for all to see.”
